The Taiwanese company Formosa is causing concern in Vietnam after it was linked to a chemical leak that killed tons of fishes along the coastline of the country.

Thousands of Vietnamese citizens decided to demonstrate peacefully on the street to let their concerns about the company be heard – a rare thing to happen in Vietnam.

Following the protests the Vietnamese authorities have promised compensation for those affected by the leak.
