After Friday´s impeachment of South Korean President Park Geyn-hye, the South Korean government has been hard at work ensuring continued economic stability during the political changes the country now faces.

The impeachment will not affect the economy, said Deputy Prime Minister of Economics and Minister of Strategy and Finance Yoo Il-ho on Sunday at a press conference with foreign reporters:

“All national systems of the country, including our political and economic governance, remain intact and continue to function in a stable manner,” he said.
