According to a recent poll, most Thais have accepted that there will be a additional delay in restoring the democratic process via a general election in Thailand. Most agree that the delay is necessary to allow the government time to talk to all political parties and secure unity in Thailand, the poll found. It was carried out by the National Institute for Development Administration, surveying 1250 people.
Thailand has been under a military government since May 2014.
