26-12-16: 12 Years After Tsunami, Thailand to Build Museum

12 years ago on this day most of South East Asia was hit by the Boxing Day Tsunami and today commemoration ceremonies are taking place all over the region to remember those lost in the catastrophe.

In Thailand the government have decided to build an outdoor museum in the province of Phangna as a token of respect for the loss of lives and as a permanent symbol of hope for the survivors in the area.
