10-04-17: Indonesia leads the way for responsible fishing policy

Fishing is a core part of the livelihood for millions of Southeast Asians, who much depend on whatever they catch to survive and feed their families. However, the industry needs to be governed responsible in order for the wildlife to continue to thrive.

In this policy challenge, Indonesia is a front runner – and now more and more countries in the region are adopting their zero tolerance policy for illegal fishing.
