Vietnam gives economic boost to tourism

With a culture unique to the region, food that easily caters to Easterners and Westerners alike and a diverse and breathtaking nature, Vietnam is a treat for travelers.

But until now the efforts to inform travelers of the opportunities here have not been backed by any budget of significance. In fact, compared to neighboring Thailand, Vietnam spends 50 times less on promoting tourism.

This week the Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc spoke about the governmental plans to promote the country better, at a national conference for the tourism industry players.
