Dewi Dylander

The Board of the EAC Foundation has appointed Dewi Dylander as CEO of the EAC Foundation and Asia House, effective 1 September 2025. Dewi Dylander succeeds Director Susanne Rumohr Hækkerup, who has chosen to step down after nine years in the position.

With a strong background in diplomacy, sustainable investments, and international cooperation, Dewi Dylander brings extensive experience from both the public and private sectors. She has served as Senior Director heading the secretariat for IMCA – a Nordic lead global initiative scaling up blended finance to mobilize private capital for climate investments in developing countries – and has held senior leadership positions at PKA and ATP. She is also vice-chair of Concito, an independent, non-profit think tank working to promote an ambitious and fair green transition in Denmark and globally.

Chairman of the EAC Foundation, Ove Ullerup, stated in connection with the announcement:

“On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Susanne Hækkerup for skillfully transforming Asia House during her tenure as Director, building meaningful partnerships that have left a significant mark on relations between Danish and Asian interests.

The appointment of Dewi Dylander marks a new chapter for the EAC Foundation and Asia House, as Asia will play an increasingly important role for Denmark and the business community. The EAC Foundation aims to strengthen the strategic, commercial, and cultural ties between Denmark and Asia. Dewi’s international perspective, broad professional experience, and extensive network will enable the EAC Foundation to establish new and innovative platforms that can bring Asia House closer to Asia. With deep insight into both the private and public sectors and her proven ability to build public-private partnerships, she will be able to lead the EAC Foundation and Asia House into an even stronger interaction with Asia.”

Dewi Dylander commented: “I am excited to take on the role of CEO of the EAC Foundation and Asia House – a house with a proud history as a bridge builder between Denmark and Asia. Throughout my career, I have worked at the intersection of international relations, sustainable investments, and strategic partnerships, and I look forward to putting this experience to use. Building on the foundation’s legacy and network, my ambition is to strengthen the Foundation and Asia House as a modern platform where knowledge, capital, and culture come together to create unified solutions to today’s global challenges.”
