Asia House was pleased to host an interesting discussion with the visiting National Defence 2024 delegation from Bangladesh this morning.
Deputy Head of Department from the Foreign Ministry of Denmark, Christian Bayer Tygesen, gave a concise introduction to Denmark’s views on Russia’s war in Ukraine. The delegation discussed avenues to the common goal of reaching a peaceful solution, with Mr. Tygesen underlining the fundamental principle in international law that big countries do not have the right to impose might on smaller countries.
