In that context, Franz-Michael Melbin, Danish Ambassador to the Philippines, recently met with officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Information and Communications Technology of the Philippines.
In an effort to advance the digitalization cooperation between the two nations, he spoke with Secretary Ivan John Uy about cybersecurity, e-government, and national identity systems. Mr. Melbin and Undersecretary Carlos Sorreta also discussed recent events in the Indo-Pacific area as well as potential business partnerships to strengthen ties between Denmark and the Philippines.
