Introducing: The SPACES Initiative

25 April 2024

A delegation led by EAC Foundation Chairman, Ove Ullerup, and Executive Director of the Grundfos Foundation | PDJF, Kim Nøhr Skibsted, along with our colleagues, Torben Krab and Tom Sebastian, are currently present at the AVPN conference, now taking place in Abu Dhabi.

And why are they there? Well, we are proud to finally reveal that the EAC Foundation and the Grundfos Foundation (Poul Due Jensen Foundation) have together launched a new initiative: SPACES (Strategic Philanthropy for Accelerating Circular Economy and Sustainability). For the first time, both foundations are represented at the key philanthropic conference, AVPN

Guested by around 1500 representatives from Asian and International foundations, AVPN is a platform for gathering philanthropic foundations, impact implementation firms, and related stakeholders to drive societal and climate change across Asia. The vision of AVPN strongly resonates with SPACES, as the initiative is dedicated to developing a pioneering platform that aims to facilitate strategic collaborative philanthropic partnerships between the Nordic region and Asia to accelerate the green transition in Asia

From insightful conversations with Lawrence Lien of Lien Foundation to engaging discussions with Monica Oudang, Chairperson of GoTo Impact Foundation (GoTo Group), every interaction has been enriching and inspiring. We can’t wait to see the positive change we can create together.
