At Asia House, our ambitious youth strategy is designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and empowerment among young people in both Denmark and Asia.
Drawing on our rich history with the East Asiatic Company and our expertise in strengthening ties between Denmark and Asia, we are building a transformative platform focused on education, culture, and talent development.

Asia House, with support from Orient’s Fond, is leading an initiative to bridge the gap between Danish education and Asia’s maritime sector. With Asia handling around 60% of global container traffic and dominating the shipbuilding industry, understanding this region is vital for Denmark.
This project aims to connect these two worlds, increasing awareness and engagement among students and educators across Denmark. But also foster sustainability, collaboration, and partnership between education and industry. By creating deeper connections between Denmark and Asia, we ensure that future generations can navigate and contribute to an increasingly globalized world.

The Living Asia Project is an initiative by Asia House that serves as a dynamic hub for students and young professionals in Denmark with an interest in Asia. The project aims to raise awareness and understanding of Asia among Danish youth while offering opportunities for:
Additionally, the project offers various activities, including networking events, workshops, and the Living Asia Youth Council, which fosters connections between young people in Denmark and Asia.
