Today and tomorrow, 1-2 November, the Danish Crown Prince and Crown Princess are in Vietnam for an official two-day visit in celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Vietnam. Denmark and Vietnam have long had a close bilateral relationship, and since 2009, Denmark has supported Vietnam’s energy efficiency agenda. Under the heading “Creating a greener future together”, the royal couple are leading a business promotion campaign in Hanoi, in which more than 36 Danish companies are taking part. The delegation will meet with local business leaders and government representatives, take part in debates on green transition, and visit local energy projects.

You can also take your company to Vietnam – if you are a Danish businessperson looking to expand to the southeast Asian region, you can join the Danish-Asian SME Network trip to Vietnam later this month. From 20-24 November, DASN will be visiting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, where meetings and activities are scheduled to grow your network and gain in-depth insight into the Vietnamese market and gain first-hand knowledge from members of NordCham Vietnam and Danish businesspeople living in the country. REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR THE VIETNAM TOUR IS TODAY – REGISTER: Dansk-Asiatisk SMV Netværk – Vietnamtur (google.com) Or contact Lars Siggaard or Gert Grønkjærfor more information.
